Free speech means that I have a right to express or spew thoughts and words of preference, love, hate, or anything with which another may disagree. That said, the rules or policies of this forum, which is my private property (see this forum's Mission Statement), are that members can exercise free speech as long as they (1) do not make a specific threat against an identifiable person or target, (2) earnestly debate or discuss the relevant issues that are part and parcel of this forum's reason-to-be.

First, I should clarify that Rule #1 includes fellow posters. As you all know, I have a very liberal and tolerant free speech policy here. There is no rule against ad hominems or profanity. However, I have noticed of late a marked increase of both to the point where it's become most unsavory and is setting a tone that, I feel, is beneath us as reasonable and mature adults. Other than the two specified rules to which I expect adherance, no one's speech is constrained, so I'm requesting that you please employ self restraint.

You know who you are. ;) Subscribe to *4um Admin News*

pitiful little army, which is what it would take to defeat Turtle

Might want to reconsider your syntax there bro.

In defense of chelonian syntax, I will state unequivocally that what we have here is a fine specimen of a perfectly formed noun clause nested within a non- restrictive adjective clause modifying "army."

Or kicking a perfectly good anti-states rights wolf lobbyist

Don't use your anti-state smear tactic to villify someone with whom you disagree with concerning killing animals for fun, or from airplanes so that others can have the "pleasure" of killing larger trophies for their wall. Nobody said anything about taking rights away from states, but then again, do you think the state should have absolute power?

The aerial shooting of wolves from airplanes is more of a moral issue than a legal one.

However, the people of Alaska have TWICE banned aerial hunting in two separate referendums, but were twice overturned by their own legislature.

That's more of a politician's right (and those who bribe them) matter than a state's rights issue, as the people are obviously not being represented by their own elected officials.

Last time I checked, the state is supposed to represent the will of the PEOPLE of that state, not the interests of lobbyists who bribe the right people.

Unlike you, I have used grenades and have learned the proper way to use them. And I have been to war, have you?

You are a loud mouth and a braggard with no concern for anything that is not your brand of maglomania and intolersnt political dogma.

You dance at the edge of the new policy challenging it in a passive agressive fashion every bit as much as you do your little blow fish, or male peacock routine with me trying to impress yourself and others.

Your use of patriot to cloak the true nature of brown boot behavior that systematically and thugishly eradicates what to people like you is unacceptable political advocacy and belief is contrary to the mission and purpose of this board. That you allegedly speak for the only true, patriotic perspective that should be tolerated is your little way to resonate with the sort of spirit Adolph Hitler operated in, nothing more.

And here I don't have to do more than point out the obvious, as you are definitely more then willing and able to continually discredit yourself and show you are a thug wannabe, nothing more.

Your childish and malicious use of violent references as to how opponents of yours' should be handled makes it clear to me that it is you, not me who are on the wrong board.

This is a free speech zone, not a place to bully and threaten to attempt to drive others away or threaten their existence.

Whine to someone else, like someone who actually gives a shit about your garbage. You are pathetic and amusing to me, little else.

Nobody gives marching orders to me, which you don't care, as the goal you serve is to shut people up, and to try to dehumanize them.

I am here to tell you the bullying does not work, you do not scare me nor am I intimidated. I am disappointed this forum administration is gutless enough to put up with you, but as for you, clown, you don't mean shit to me.

You are ignorant, intolerant, and here to shut down lively debate and discussion if one of the participants makes you wet your pants in anger because you disagree with them so.

But if there is a lynch mob's air of intolerance to discussion that keeps the setting on never respecting those who disagree with the mindset views that are solely allowed to be in play, I am not going to go out of my way to waste my time discussing with those who respect only their clique and mindset.

I am here to tell you I am not gone from here either. I am impossible to drive away.

Few things get up my nose like seeing another puppet in office after enduring eight years of Jr. If there is anything else that makes my eyes bleed it's a defense of the current Zero in the White House. It's just icing on the cake to see someone who can spell, and is otherwise seems to be a reasonable human being defend him.

That's Ferret.

But look:

"If that malodorous rodent Traitor were found on my side of the wire in or my boat I assure you the rodent would be dead quickly."

That is out of line. I think you need to control your temper. I share your hostility toward the forces now on the march that are going to send this country down the drain. But your comments, prove nothing, advance nothing, and do you no credit.

This kind of back and forth looks better over on LP. It makes the forum an ignorant echo chamber of pointless vituperation. We've seen enough of it. It goes nowhere.

Chrissy's right. We need to draw a line somewhere. I think suggesting that someone stick a grenade in his chops and pull the pin is a bit rich. I think both of you should retire to your corners.

I am fair to Christine not with abuse, but with a refusal to pander to her. I consider her a friend, and I tell friends when I disagree with them or where I see hypocrisy in regards to their actions or lack thereof.

She is free to take issue with me or agree, I will listen. I refuse to be a blind Rotara with a confirmed thirst for the blood of those disagreeing with him, and who is obviously in the middle of having a bad Charlie Manson complex.

If she takes issue with me, I always listen. My point is, not enough people take the time to listen to others, or respect the process of dialog or discussion in here.

What is the point of a free speech forum if the main point of many is to drive away opposing views? I am here to tell you, this is not how free speech works.
