Free speech means that I have a right to express or spew thoughts and words of preference, love, hate, or anything with which another may disagree. That said, the rules or policies of this forum, which is my private property (see this forum's Mission Statement), are that members can exercise free speech as long as they (1) do not make a specific threat against an identifiable person or target, (2) earnestly debate or discuss the relevant issues that are part and parcel of this forum's reason-to-be. First, I should clarify that Rule #1 includes fellow posters. As you all know, I have a very liberal and tolerant free speech policy here. There is no rule against ad hominems or profanity. However, I have noticed of late a marked increase of both to the point where it's become most unsavory and is setting a tone that, I feel, is beneath us as reasonable and mature adults. Other than the two specified rules to which I expect adherance, no one's speech is constrained, so I'm requesting that you please employ self restraint. You know who you are. ;)

And your opinion on this new death threat by Rot? Why do you try to bring fire to me and do not put heat to someone who takes pains to go against her policy stated in this thread. If you want to make an impact on me that causes pause, you don't do so by being unbalanced in your approach. Unless you address that too, your words mean nothing here.
I do not agree with the new POTUS on everything, and would love to engage in lively discussion in regards to him. But if there is a lynch mob's air of intolerance to discussion that keeps the setting on never respecting those who disagree with the mindset views that are solely allowed to be in play, I am not going to go out of my way to waste my time discussing with those who respect only their clique and mindset. I am here to tell you I am not gone from here either. I am impossible to drive away. I am fine with annoying you, right back at you.

FWIW I'd trust you over hounddog, any day, were the shit to hit the proverbial fan. I consider her a friend, and I tell friends when I disagree with them or where I see hypocrisy in regards to their actions or lack thereof. She is free to take issue with me or agree, I will listen. 4um Traitor Yes, and I have been on many forums since the mid ninties, and understand well the role and perogeratives if forum management. I am criticising here in a constructive manner that even falls smackly under the aupices of the thread topic at hand. I would be out of line to call her names, threaten of to bully; however even hosts are not above the law in certain aspects of the mix in forum. It is actually a pander and less then an act of friendship not to espress exactly what you feel about a situation or if you desire management to either rebut the point, or walk the walk of the talk. Along with regard and deference one gets as a leader comes responsibility and accountibility. I wouldn't bother to post what I did if I did not value her friendship. What I saw was the use of the word 'pander'. You really shouldn't have gone there.
I know you like diversity, and that's why you are a political side show. Liberals like you have redefined the purpose of racial preference policies as "promoting diversity." Diversity translated out of Orwellian Newspeak into English, means government approved racial discrimination against "non-Hispanic white" Americans. Diversity, by definition, empowers and grows central government, thereby removing both personal freedom and tax dollars from my pocket. In that regard, proponents of diversity are enemies to a constitutional republic despite whatever they say to the contrary.
Part of the baggage that goes with leadership on the macro, or posting a thread like this on the micro is the boredom and even agrivation of process. Your argument that she should post a thread about an obviously nessesary rule change children like Rot beg for and then not follow through with the easily anticipatable process that owning a venue for discussion on the Internet or creating an administrator's announcement threat will cause makes little sense. I am glad you are gentleman enough to defense Christine, but I assure you, I am not out of the envalope of what is acceptable behavior. You know who here is, talk to him.
