This is astounding and infuriating. Why isn't this in the papers? Please read and pass it on. WHY ARE WE BANKRUPT? Informative, and mind boggling! You think the war in Iraq is costing us too much? Read this: Boy, was I confused. I have been hammered with the propaganda that it is the Iraq war and the war on terror that is bankrupting us. I now find that to be RIDICULOUS. I hope the following 14 reasons are forwarded over and over again until they are read so many times that the reader gets sick of reading them. I also have included the URL's for verification of all the fo llowing facts. 1. $11 Billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens each year by state governments. It is not propaganda to state the fact that approximately $1.1 trillion of the federal budget is spent on the military-industrial complex, which includes not just the defense budget, but is spread across numerous departments and agencies of the feral gummint. Half of all the military spending done on the planet by its nearly 200 nations is done by this one nation in which we live. I'm sick of it. This doesn't mean I'm not sick of that laundry list either, but it's not propaganda to point out that the Pentagon is the worst offender.

Keep in mind also whos "WAR" the Pentagon is fighting.
That money is being spent specifically to provide under-market priced labor for employers. It's a big fat subsidy designed to give cheap labor to those who want powerless serf employees, and it also serves to keep wages down for the rest of us. Once again, this empire is all about giving the top 1% of the population everything they want at the expense of the rest of us, and it isn't going to change until this empire finally passes into the history books.
