Since my father was a general contractor, I started building houses when I was 12. Never cared in the slightest for suburban houses,

Now this, which is a strawbale house covered with stucco, or maybe just plaster, is just the kind of house I like.

I could ever build this, and it wouldb't be that hard.

Turtle has unusual tastes. But then, Turtle is usual, not to mention amazing! (1 image)

I bet that by the time everything is considered, wood would have been a better choice. Wood isn't that expensive. What's expensive is the lot, labor and the furnishings.

I've looked at strawbale houses for several years. If you build them yourself, they are amazingly cheap.

I gave up on wooden-frame houses years ago. I built a dozen or so as a teenager, and think they are actually obsolete.

What's to keep the straw from rotting and turning to a compost pile?

This is an interesting subject though. People build using everything from aluminum cans to old tires to manure/straw to who knows what else.

There. Fixed it for you.

Turtle the Great, King of the Universe, may have only two brain cells, and therefore can only think in binary, but his Brain makes 10 gazillion calculations a second, which means his Brain is an Enterprise warp drive compared to your one-cylinder 1950s Japanese lawn mower brain,

If turtles were actually smart they probably wouldn't be such easy prey for people to make soup. Not that I would want any mind you. I think your analogy is not too good--it seems it would be more accurate to say that you are equipped with a Romulan cloaking device that hides your brain since it is never obvious or readily apparent, lol!
