On 3/13/02, George W. Bush held a press conference, of which the transcript was posted on the white house website for many years. Bush had been questioned about the whereabouts of bin laden; and among other things, Bush replied: "I don't know where Bin Laden is. I truly am not that concerned about him" (that's a direct quote). It was here: http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2002/03/20020313-8.html

With a new administration I checked to see if this White House URL still worked. it is gone, and now the original url takes you to this url

Question: Are all white house press conferences/ transcripts from all previous administrations scrapped when a new admin. takes over? Are they stored anywhere else at that point, perhaps a govt archive site, or disappeared down the memory hole forever?

"Deep in my heart" - Why deep in his heart?? Officials with resources don't act on notions in their hearts, but on facts that come up through the pipe from multiple sources.

And then he knows to a moral certainty that Osama is "on the run." But no - he may be dead. Dead and on the run.

I think George is on the rum. His news conferences and interviews were always an insult to the intelligence.

Funny! I agree it was either Rum or Valium that W was on.

As for insult to intelligence, my friend you need to you tube Obama and 57 states or Obama and inflate tires or Obama uh err uh.

I fear the worst insult to intelligence is yet to come unless Obama's handlers permanently wire a teleprompter feed to his mouth.

I was thinking about linking and this mug (the One you speak of) on this very post but, quite honestly, I can't stand watching/listening to 'Bama either.

He too is full of glib bullshit. The other day, he maintained that his Strealfromus Plan would "save or create" 3.2 million jobs.

"Save or create" is so much Bush fudge. Lame predictions like this are plainly not grounded in economics, and are just more of the ad lib horse hockey that has become all too nauseatingly familiar the past eight (sixteen? twenty?) years.

No, I cannot bring myself to look at any more youtubes of this character. I've seen all that I can bear.

Lord, bring this rotten dynasty down!
