My father was a general contractor, I was raised in the field, and built houses from 12 to 21. I have a very low opinion of modern building techniques, and have for years been a fan of strawbale houses, which are cheap, easy to build, and solid. It is even possible to build a good cardboard house, although I would only do it in the Southwest. I'd put it up, the adobe the inside and outside with lime plaster. Occasionally patch it, and it'd last a hundred years. Imagine the ease of it. Anyone could put up a cardboard house, and plastering is easy, too. Of course, it could only be one story.

In the Ozarks there are hardly any building codes, and "Uncle Sam" has not been welcome since before the War Between the States.
Love it when those darn typos get in the way of a good turn of phrase.
Turtle needs six cups of coffee a day to maintain his Brain function.
Just imagine if you had more than two brain cells--there would be a worldwide shortage of coffee and the rest of us would have to pay a thousand dollars for half a cup!
Turtle's two Brain cells are the size of basketballs and do a gazillion calculations a second, as compared to yours, which are about as powerful as a ladybug in molasses.

In real life I have had people laugh so hard they had tears in their eyes or bend over laughing unable to catch their breath. Turtle is, as always, stupendous!
