Title: Despite High Unemployment, Obama Puts Amnesty on the Agenda

This week, as a guest on a Spanish language radio show, President Obama stated his continued support for giving amnesty to 12 million illegal immigrants, which would force Americans looking for a job to compete with amnestied aliens for work. (El Piolin Interview, February 18, 2009 and CBS4—South Florida).

During the radio interview, President Obama said: “We’re going to start by really trying to work on how to improve the current [immigration] system so that people who want to be naturalized, who want to become citizens . . . are able to do it; that it’s cheaper, that it’s faster, that they have an easier time in terms of sponsoring family members.” Following that, President Obama acknowledged what legal American workers already know intuitively—that amnesty is not in their best interest—but then endorsed amnesty anyway. President Obama said: “And then we’ve got to have comprehensive immigration reform. . . . Politically it’s going to be tough. It’s probably tougher now than it was, partly because of the fact that the economy has gotten worse.” (El Piolin).

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, over 11.6 million Americans are currently unemployed and the number of unemployed Americans has increased by 4.1 million over the past year. (Bureau of Labor Statistics, January 2009). Millions more have simply stopped looking for work. Just last month, 598,000 Americans lost their jobs. Particularly troubling among the unemployment data is the fact that certain minorities such as African-Americans are experiencing greater unemployment (12.6 percent) than the nation as a whole.

President Obama also said his staff was working on amnesty already, stating: “we’ve got some wonderful people on my White House staff who are working on this issue on an ongoing basis.” Earlier this week, open-borders advocates suggested that they expect that Congress will debate amnesty legislation in the fall of 2009. (NDN, February 20, 2009). Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s director of Hispanic media has confirmed the likely timing for debate as well. (O Jornal, January 30, 2009).

King of the threats and whines, how goes it. I am always interested in mature debate that is lively and respectful with agreement not being requisite.

Actually, I find your badgering and flaming trying to get everyone on this forum to be of your mindset to be socialistic. With is quite ironic considering what you say when you flic your litle Bic.

Take care, and let me know if you ever really want to debate or discuss anything in earnest.

You know, do the sort of activity that makes a real forum.

You have been talked to about your death threats. Merely omitting how and where you intend to definately seee me dead and saying you will piss on my grave when it definately happens does not make it not a death threast.

So you are saying this is not a free speech forum? That if someonee gives opinion and they have the audacity to disagree with you they will die?

You are a twisted fuck head. I serve you notice I am not intimidated by you, and it is you who have the severe problem with criminality, not me.

Sorry, but Bush, the one you speak of is not my man. Also, he is now out of office, and grown-ups are now trying to repair the damage.

Seems you are very confused.

Exactly which "grown-ups" are "trying to repair the damage."?? The ones who are threatening to kill us by confiscating our arms and ammunition to leave us unarmed against Obummers' Final Solution?? The people who voted for Obummer are the juden-rats of the 21st century. Obummer has leaped past Clinton, Bush, Carter, LBJ, FDR, Lincoln, and Wilson to attain the title of Worst President In History. All in less than two months into his so-called "administration".

I do not concur. I do not agree with everything the Democrats are doing and belong to the Pacific Green Party because I do not.

What I see here is people too afraid to dialog and discuss what you post about.

I am merely being used here as a vehicle to talk about a desire to assassinate the president. That much is plainly obvious. Being coy about it and dancing on the edge of the razor blade of discussing revolution and violent over throw of the government is not free speech and open dialog.

Nobody here dare directly threaten Barack Obama, but they sure can try to create the climate for insurrection and violent overthrow of the government by using me, an open with my ID poster as a surrogate to express and reinforce their blood talk in a way they feel it will galvanize others to act.

The proof that Rotara and others do not want to talk, and prefer a William Quantrill sort of answer to end political freedom and free speech is all over Rotara's posts.

He would never dare directly threaten, but he can advance his agenda to see the government overthrown and to see Obama removed from office by any means necessary by trying to use me as a surrogate vehicle to advance his agenda, and it is obvious this is what he is up to.

Your feelings and personal thoughts aside, all I want to know is if you saw or read a threat that would require immediate action on the part of the forum owner. I think I read your answer to be no, right? If OTOH, a comment was missed please ID it now. Thanks.

Fairy Mike is a trouble maker that is trying to manufacture that "comment".

I see his behavior as a threat to the peaceful participation most of us have here even when we don't agree.

When I saw his "presidential threat comment" it made me think that he's trying to manufacture a threat that never existed.

You were right to demand that he provide the threat remark.

The peaceful discourse was ended when Rotara started posting threats, very detailed and graphic ones to me.

One does not talk of killing all who disagree without feeling the same in regards to those in leadership positions those he wishes dead support.

I would not post my understanding of the full inference of Rotara if I was contacting any agency like the FBI or Secret Service. And I am not the least bit intimidated by Rotara.

But if I die violently, he has unsured he will be sought and talked to to see if he turned his words to actions.

That is pure assumption on your part. Thinking that a threat against you has even the slightest relationship to someone in leadership is preposterous.

Rotara talks about the critical need not to discuss or dialog and to kill many many people.

Nobody that wants to kill a body talks of cutting off the body to kill, the objective aimed at is always the head, where the brain is.

All he talks about is shedding blood this and shedding blood that, with himself rhetorically placed on a pedestal by himself as the sole vehicle of truth in this country.

He is blood thirsty, abusive and delutional. And there is no doubt in my own mind that he would shoot Barack Obama if the oppertunity presented itself.

If he wants to extrapolate who and what should die and why, there is no reason to begrudge his thought process being revealed in it's fullest measure.

He talks blood spilling, and I am hardly the real target. I am just someone he tries to use to advance his agenda of death, hatred and fascist beliefs.

I am just someone he tries to use to advance his agenda of death, hatred and fascist beliefs.

When the mob (democratic majority) finds it reasonable to impose their brand of justice upon those opposed in order to finance it ... there will be bloodshed and in truth the minority are acting in self defense.

Yours is an agenda similar to Robin Hood stealing from the haves to give it to the have nots, after a healthy distribution to self. Those opposed to your socialism are only being considered because they can pay for it.

If you want to redistribute my wealth (which is minimal) you better be armed because I ain't volunteering.

Oh, we are going to have to live within our means, whether we have a stimulus and son of stimulus or not. Obama and Congress are going to have to be made to do so even if they are going to have to be given unendurable public pressure to do so.

I loved Ron Paul's recent video about living within our means, and I like Obama's desire to cut the deficit in half. I worry more in fact that Congress is not into ending their spendthrift ways and I was pissed by this recent business as usual standard spending bill they passed in the aftermath of the stimulus.

I am even willing to put my money where my mouth is and sacrifice social security retirement toward this goal.

What Ron Paul says about printing money and treating debt like capital is not only good sense, it is the damn truth.

My support for Obama only goes as far as his supporting the truth and understanding and working for a better future for our kids goes.

No doubt Ron Paul would be a much better man for our time then Obama, but he is not the diabolocal criminal I see painted and dehumanized in here and at FR.

He is a smart, talented man who supports much the same thing as Ron Paul, and who is accountable if he fails or errs in what he does.

He is the one who ultimately survived the process of this last election, and I do not agree his election is proof positive that Thomas Jefferson's words about the need for violent revolution's time is here to be implimented.

I got worse then this Rotara Rooter treatment as a forest activist by Earth Liberation sorts locally who took extreme exception to my support of non- violent means to try to deal with logging without laws.

I have heard worse from people who were obviously dangerous live and in the flesh, and this interestingly enough helped temper and harden my being to the point Rot's words don't really do more then annoy.

Hey, If I die because of my strongly held beliefs, so be it. I prefer that to the thousand deaths of a coward who allowed others to shut him up and not say or support what he trully believes in.

Obama and Ron Paul support the same things? That would be news not only to me, but to both Obama and Paul. Obama and Ron Paul are about as far apart politically as it's possible to be. In fact, they probably disgree on just about every issue.

RP opposed the bailouts and stimulus package. BHO helped push them through.

RP wants to withdraw our troops from Afghanistan. BHO wants to deepen our engagements in Afghanistan.

RP opposes foreign aid. BHO is all in favor of it.

RP opposes amnesty for illegal immigrants. BHO favors it.

RP supports sound currency, Obama wants the status quo of a fiat, print-as-you go system.

I could continue, but I think I've made my point. I can't understand how anybody who agrees with Ron Paul on the core issues could be an Obama supporter. But, to be fair, I couldn't understand how other RP voters became McCain supporters either. For all the hype about Democrats vs. Republicans, Obama and McCain had a lot more in common with one another than with Ron Paul or with any libertarian or "old right" conservative.

Incidentally, the last point is the main reason that I don't get all hysterical about Obama like some on this site do. He's certainly not much worse (or any better) than Clinton or Bush were, or McCain would have been.

Yes, and the $5T in debt he will rack up and pass on to our kids just in the next year is building a better future for them.

Mike, get a clue and realize you've been had by the Democrats. They convinced you they were better than the Republicans and lied to you.

Wake up.
