(02-27) 08:22 PST Omaha, Neb. (AP) -- The Nebraska Supreme Court has upheld the firing of a State Patrol trooper with ties to the Ku Klux Klan. Justice John Gerrard wrote in the opinion released Friday that Robert Henderson voluntarily associated with an organization that uses violence and terror to oppose the state's founding principles of equality and tolerance. Henderson, a trooper for 18 years, was dismissed in 2006 after the patrol discovered he had joined a racist group. An arbitrator said Henderson was wrongly fired, but a judge overturned that decision. Henderson's attorney, Vincent Valentino, argued to the high court that arbitrators, not judges, have the final say.

Seems freedom of association only applies to racist black "preachers" and "activists" (and certain junior dark-skinned senators that hang with them) as well as the azatlaners who want to kill all white folks and take over the southwestern USA. Thought crimes. An offense that will buy you termination and incarceration...IF you're white. Junior dark-skinned race card playing senators who've associated with racists and terrorists and drug dealers (how does one get their coke?) just zoom right on up to the head of the class.

The trooper's crime was giving a damn about his own race FIRST.

Henderson said he joined as a way to vent his frustrations over his wife leaving him for a Hispanic man. He resigned his membership in 2006. The State Patrol fired the 18-year trooper three years ago for joining the Knights Party.
