WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and other local law enforcement will be conducting drunken driving checkpoints, but this time deputies will do things a little differently.

If deputies suspect a driver is under the influence, they'll offer an on-the-spot Breathalyzer. If drivers refuse, deputies will ask to draw their blood.

Attorney David Olson told WPBF News 25 that "would only be lawful if a warrant is issued by a judge."

That's just what deputies plan to do. They'll actually drive to a judge's home for a signature and return to the checkpoint.

Olson said drawing blood from drivers is usually done in extreme cases like homicides and fatal collisions. Olson said he's not sure a judge would actually sign a warrant.

Drivers who refuse will be arrested and charged with driving under the influence.

They draw blood on the kids up here routinely. If you refuse, your license is immediately suspended for a year.

That's not true. At least in my case. I was involved in a fatal and only took a piss test, per DOT regs.

IIRC, that conclusion was based upon a "survey" of women who had sexual relations with black men and not the black men themslves.

No matter...I am sure that the police officers will be fully trained to bring no harm to themselves which matters more than anyone's rights whose only protection is by a "godammed piece of paper"...

So, if they force someone to have blood drawn and that person gets lightheaded, passes out, falls to the pavement striking their head and sustaining a big laceration and a concussion which keeps them out of work for six weeks; while a passing motorist, seeing the above mentioned episode swerves into traffic causing a multicar accident and untold damages, who is responsible for all the grief, damages, and lost money especially if the original motorists' blood alcohol level is zero?

Most valets in NY and LA and Naples, FL, which are the cities in which I am more likely to use valet, are Hispanic.

I'm unaware of any current study regarding the herpiative qualities of Hispanic males.
