Things are literally going swimmingly here in Melaque in the heart of Costallagre Mexico. Sue and I have decided this place is a keeper.
Our pleasant hotel room is 250 pesos a night ($17 USD) and has a great terrace with umbarellas and tables and a stove and sink if you want to cook some shrimp.
Weekly the price goes to $14 USD a night, if you get it for a month I guess its free ).
These pixs are from google, I did not bring the cable to connect my camera to a computer.
My tan is coming right along, the food is fabulous, shrimp platter is about $5.5 and the beer company, Sol, is having a promotional especial for $0.66 a bottle in the restaurants!!! Or for a brew on our terrace, $0.44 for a 16 oz can of Sol. Our room is great with two comfortable beds, frige and a flush toilet so it is far more advanced then the Ozarks! The city square: HERE IS OUR HOTEL: Have another few days here than off to Puerto Vallerta for a flight back to the US on Tuesday - ending our three week vacation. Next time we are driving, and staying a month.
