Gov. Sarah Palin responded to remarks made last night by President Obama related to the Special Olympics on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno":

“I was shocked to learn of the comment made by President Obama about Special Olympics,” Governor Palin said.  “This was a degrading remark about our world’s most precious and unique people, coming from the most powerful position in the world.

“These athletes overcome more challenges, discrimination and adversity than most of us ever will.  By the way, these athletes can outperform many of us and we should be proud of them.  I hope President Obama’s comments do not reflect how he truly feels about the special needs community.”

Well, after the way his allies went after her, he really couldn't count on a full-throated defense of a boneheaded comment. Obama used the whole "it's just a joke" excuse with his "lipstick on a pig" comment, too. Subscribe to *Sarah Palin 2012*

Since all his supporters are 'tards, they wouldn't even know to be offended, right?

The other irony of this is that it usually is the so-called "right" which is always calling out the so-called "left" for being too "politically correct."

I didn't vote last fall and, in fact, will never vote in another federal election.

But I do have to thank Obama for destroying both Hillary and the GOP in the same calendar year. I am an anti-Republican. The GOPers are not merely misguided; they are evil. Their leaders—Darth and El Rushbo—are demonic.

And I am sure they feel the same about all of us out here who are not GOPers.

I am an anti-Republican.

I've read your well articulated posts for years Sam, and am perplexed by your adherence to party politics ... anti-fed "you betcha" ... both parties are very evil and the current one appears moreso than any previous ones ... MANDATORY VOLUNTEER SERVICE ... WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT ???

Both parties are corrupt. Power corrupts, after all. I don't vote for either of them and I won't. I have learned voting only encourages them. I used to vote Libertarian. I don't even do that anymore.

But the GOPers are evil, as evidenced by the mindless violence they committed in the first years of this century, including against their own citizens on 9/11. I blame the neocon rogue elements within their party for that act and the subsequent never-ending wars for Israel they enabled. They failed to police themselves. Millions have died, as a result.

It was the "unitary executive" theory of Cheney-Bush that sought, more or less successfully, to establish a new system of government for us, the Presidential dictatorship. I didn't expect Obama to repudiate it and he hasn't. It's funny watching the GOPers quake at their own diabolical creation, though.

I still think the chances of Obama starting a nuclear war are somewhat less than if McStrangelove had been elected and certainly less than if the demonic Darth Cheney had somehow rigged things to take over.
