No, I'm saying that the Republican party which concerned itself with our country's sovereignty, held the Constitution and the Rule of Law as the supreme authorities over all issues, and from which it is to be guided, is dead. All that I've witnessed for the past thirty years is lip service given to protecting our borders, ignoring the will of the People, catering to special interest groups and the rich, enlarging government, both in size and power, and taking away from or encroaching upon the rights of the states and the People, spending to excess, and have, as its goals, promotion of globalism. These are just a few specific examples where they more resemble the Democrat ways and ideologies than they do Republican.
McClown would have just continued the slow death that was Bush's trademark. People would have bitched about gov't getting bigger and freedoms going away, but that's about it. Zero and his dimwit pals, OTOH, are literally taking a sledgehammer to the country. There's a slim chance the brain dead may wake from their stupor and do something about it. So - in that regard, McClown election would have been worse.

Levin swears on small government and sounds like Ron Paul on his show and in his book......yet he SLAMMED Ron Paul at every chance he got when it came down to the election. HE is a hypocrite and a shill for Israeli Wars. You're either a paid shill or just an ignorant tribal apologist.

Doesn't seem like Levin likes Ron Paul to much. I suspect it is mostly on foreign policy. Levin sees some countries as threats and wants to use our military. Ron Paul doesn't see it that way and wants to bring our troops home. I mostly agree with Ron Paul on this one. But Ron Paul is a little bit ignorant about the threats posed by muslims. Levin isn't perfect either. But from what I have heard of his book. It sounds like it is probably a good book.

I don't hate muslims. I see them somewhat as a threat. I don't care for their religion. Where did I say that if someone hates muslims they are A OK with me? We are supposed to love everyone. Including our enemies. I don't quite measure up there but I will try harder in the future. It is pretty hard with Obama in the White House though.

I backtracked and after reviewing the exchanges see no reason to change my comment. I have strong philosophic disagreements with Islam which is a retrograde philosophy mired in the 7th century. It treats women as souless chattels and asserts a right to dominance over anyone not of their sect. Equally I dislike the racial superiority complex of the Talmudic Jews who view themselves as "people" and anyone not of their clique as animals. Again a retrograde philosophy which exalts its practicioners as superior and having no need to accord a common humanity to those not of their group. Both are ethnocentric materialist philosophies and both practice pillage and war as their chosen vehicle to assert their perverted views of their own superiority over all others.
