Actress Lynda Carter, best known for her role as Wonder Woman on television, said that while there always is a loyal opposition to the party in power, the political “right wing” in America is “spreading hate.” Carter, who spoke with CNSNews.com at an event to raise awareness about mental illness, also said “it’s pathetic that we don’t do more” for the homeless in America.

In the 80's I was in the audience at ABC Studio Center when Lynda and George Benson filmed a TV special. I went for a smoke and started talking to a lady and I mentioned that it was a shame that a talented musician/singer like Benson had to do the show with marginally talented Lynda Carter. And then the lady proceeded to tell me that many people including her were actually there to see Lynda! Imagine my surprise! I actually felt sorry for George, having to sing two part unison (Lynda couldn't harmonize for shit) for the show.
