Actress Lynda Carter, best known for her role as Wonder Woman on television, said that while there always is a loyal opposition to the party in power, the political right wing in America is spreading hate. Carter, who spoke with CNSNews.com at an event to raise awareness about mental illness, also said its pathetic that we dont do more for the homeless in America.
You know, the last eight years I was the loyal opposition and now theres another loyal opposition, Carter told CNSNews.com at the Green Door gala. The only problem I really have is the spreading of hate by right wing, you know, super right the spreading of hate, I dont get it. I dont understand it.

In the 80's I was in the audience at ABC Studio Center when Lynda and George Benson filmed a TV special.
I went for a smoke and started talking to a lady and I mentioned that it was a shame that a talented musician/singer like Benson had to do the show with marginally talented Lynda Carter.
And then the lady proceeded to tell me that many people including her were actually there to see Lynda!
Imagine my surprise!
I actually felt sorry for George, having to sing two part unison (Lynda couldn't harmonize for shit) for the show.

Someone needs to show her the DailyKOS(sp?) website, if she wishes to see hate..

"Don't Tread on Me", originally a war cry of Benjamin Franklin during America's fight for independence, has come to symbolize the American spirit. It first appeared on the Gadsen flag (named for and by General Christopher Gadsen) which featured the slogan below a coiled rattlesnake that was ready to attack. The snake (along with the slogan) came to symbolize America as an animal that would never strike first, but when provoked, would never give in. Today, it also symbolizes and celebrates personal independence and perseverance.
