Brazilian moonshine. Legal too. Cachaça (IPA: [ÌkaȃasP]) is the most popular distilled alcoholic beverage in Brazil. It is also known as "aguardente", "pinga", "caninha" or other names. Visiting Europe in the eighties, we noticed that there were vineyards all over the place. And I do mean everywhere. Asking a grower there why we didn't see any of their wines over in the USA, he said, "We drink all that we grow." True story.
