What I have tried so far hasn't gotten rid of it. Kind of annoying searching and then being redirected somewhere else. Also slowing my compute down.

Anyone know of any free solutions to get rid of this shit? Or better yet tell me who wrote the virus so I can go slit their throat.

Here is an example. Since it is tax season I just thought I would search for H & R block.

I search and H&R blocks page is the first choice.

I click on it and it takes me to turbo tax.

If I right click and copy link address it will take me to H&R blocks page.

Some things like freedom4um take you to freedom4um. It is just some things that get redirected.

You might want to run your computer through Symantec's free scan. Just Google "Symantec."

Do they fix it. Or is it one of them that just tells you what you have and encourages you to buy it?

I'm not saying that is bad as that could narrow down the problem. Just wonder.

To continue with Virus Detection, click the icon at the top of the page, and then click 'Install ActiveX Control.' If you don't see the icon at the top of the page, click here.

I dont see the little symbol they are talking about. So I click on the "click here spot" Then it loops back and asks the same question.

I'll keep trying. But I would like to thank you for the advice.

You need "AntiSpyware," but you will have to pay about $20. It is worth it to get rid of the junk. I had Spyware Doctor, but it did not remove the over 2,000 adware and other junk items these clowns send through your browser. Once I got rid of all that, everything worked as fast as when I purchased my computer.
