Active Thermitic Material Discovered in Dust from the 9/11 World Trade Center Catastrophe

We have discovered distinctive red/gray chips in all the samples we have studied of the dust produced by the destruction of the World Trade Center. Examination of four of these samples, collected from separate sites, is reported in this paper. These red/gray chips show marked similarities in all four samples. One sample was collected by a Manhattan resident about ten minutes after the collapse of the second WTC Tower, two the next day, and a fourth about a week later. The properties of these chips were analyzed using optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy (XEDS), and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The red material contains grains approximately 100 nm across which are largely iron oxide, while aluminum is contained in tiny plate-like structures. Separation of components using methyl ethyl ketone demonstrated that elemental aluminum is present. The iron oxide and aluminum are intimately mixed in the red material. When ignited in a DSC device the chips exhibit large but narrow exotherms occurring at approximately 430 °C, far below the normal ignition temperature for conventional thermite. Numerous iron-rich spheres are clearly observed in the residue following the ignition of these peculiar red/gray chips. The red portion of these chips is found to be an unreacted thermitic material and highly energetic.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Folks, this is a major story and will be totally ignored by ABCNNBBCBS.

This is a peer-reviewed report in a science journal which confirms the presence of a manufactured material consisting of tiny flakes of aluminum metal coated with iron oxide discovered at four different locations in the wreckage of the World Trade Center.

Aluminum and iron oxide, mixed equally by weight, is the classic recipe for thermite. This material is very fine, increasing its burn speed, and apparently has some additional components (besides the very fine granular size) which lower the ignition temperature.

This report directly contradicts the official government claim that there was no trace of internal explosives in the ruins of the World Trade Center.

That's not a 14 floor high pile of debris. Try again.

Unfortunately, they hurried away all the "evidence."

This one, taken on 9/11, shows a debris pile less that 2 stories above ground level.

Care to explain that one, Einstein?

You folks are quite long on this and that but quite short on anything even remotely supporting this and that.

The fact is. you're of the belief that the WTC collapsed flat into the earth and you look dumb when it ios revelaed that they, in fact, did not. You're also of the dumber belief that they fell at near free fall speed without providing squatina evidence that they did. That video I posted slays that myth and thus the controlled demolition myth. Couple those to the amount of thermite that would have been necessary and then any remainder thereof among the of tons dust generated and you look even dumberer.

The fact is not one of you Moonbats have provided even the teeniest tiniest nit of evidence to make you case not worth a yawn.

Quick...hide behind your house of cards and tell me I'm a government shill while, of course, not daring try to answer any of the same basic questions that I have raised about your Moonbat Theories from post #1.

Thanks!!!

Debris lying on other buildings doesn't count.

Now have your dog look back to the right and you can see that the pile of debris is higher than that building and, in fact, has spilld over onto it.

You don;t tread water very well...

PS: Thermite doesn't cut, it melts and the buildings did not fall at anything near free fall speed...

and the buildings did not fall at anything near free fall speed...

Considering how long it could have taken them to fall in a pancake collapse it was very fast indeed. Neither WTC 1 or 2 fell at near free fall speed in a vacuum. Then again, nothing does unless it is in a vacuum. However air resistance would not have slowed the fall of the buildings down any noticeable amount over such a short distance for such massive buildings. But collisions on each floor, which had to occur if you believe the government's story, would have slowed it down a very noticeable amount.

But WTC7 did collapse at near free fall speed and no plane even hit it. Don't tell me it felt lonely, that is not why it collapsed. Also don't tell me news reporters are psychic and that's why they reported it fell a good 20 minutes before it did. Anyone that can't see WTC7 was a controlled demolition is either blind or dumb. Why bring a perfectly good building down on purpose? Destroy evidence? Yep, that's why it had to come down.

God is always good!

Let's just say that I put more weight on what the chemist has to say than your opinions on the matter.

Note that his investigation began when he witnessed the 47 story building collapse seven hours later with no airplane impact and it did so in 6.5 seconds. There really is not valid explanation as to the collapse of building seven, no matter how you spin it. If the explanation given for seven is false, then the explanations regarding the twin towers deserve more scrutiny as well.
