Agree, but they should have gone back another ten years for the real classics.

Never saw Time Tunnel or Invaders. The rest were a staple for me.

Leftovers (re-runs.)

How could they leave out:

A nation based on race has to keep other races out. A government dedicated to a proposition has to keep ideas out.

Much better theme songs (with words) back then too.

I've already said too much.

Best cartoon of the 60's, Jonny Quest: people got shot/trampled/blown up.

Lamest cartoon -- Clutch Cargo, where they somehow superimposed human lips in the cartoon, and that was all that moved.

This was my favorite show when it was on around 1960. It came out before Fireball XL5.

Poor Christine. What a lonely and desolate childhood to have subsisted on Casper The Friendly Ghost. ;-)

Tom Terrific

This one used to be on early Captain Kangeroo. Sure isn't as I remembered it in the early 60s.

My favorite cartoons were Felix the Cat, Clutch Cargo, Jonny Quest, Popeye, Casper the Freindly Ghost, Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Beany and Cecil and Scooby Doo.

My favorite live action shows were Voyage to the Bottom Of the Sea, Lost In Space, Land of the Giants, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, The Wild Wild West (Because of the combined James Bond/Western aspect of this show) and Star Trek.

I actually recently purchased the Felix the Cat golden anaversary DVD set and watch it on the 'puter from tome to time.

Photobucket Oh what a DUFFLE-HEAD that Barack Obama is !!! Duffle-Head (As used in a Felix the Cat cartoon) A wicked person of limited intelegence but with pretenses of intelectual grandeur. Their only successful endevors are usually the invention of self punishment machines.
