i wholeheartedly concur. i'm not going to live my life afraid of someone(s) reading or listening to everything i write and say. they can't keep that close a tab on ALL of us and *they* ought to fear we the people for a change.
It's intimidation, plain and simple. And if people fold due to this intimidation now, then they would fold (or become informants) when things really get rough.

The only way you can get a secure phone is to buy a prepaid one and use it only for emergencies or calling other prepaid phones. They are certainly more expensive when it comes to airtime, but like anything else it's a trade-off.
