Obama remains alive at the pleasure of the MIC (in the Afghan case, you can add "narco" in front of MIC and he damned well knows that. A guy this in love with himself does NOT have a "martyr complex." He may want to emulate Lincoln in some ways, but he's not going to make a habit of metaphorically going to Ford's Theatre.
