Especially since the idea for these tea parties originated among Ron Paul supporters, something I was surprised to hear Cavuto mention. As far as election coverage I remember OReilly state that he would never entertain the idea of Ron Paul as a serious candidate. And from that day on I never heard his name mentioned on Fox.

I saw some footage of this today. i saw a few good signs, including 'end the fed' and an even better one that said "WAKE UP: TYRANNICAL GOVERNMENT IS HERE!" I don't know what percentage of the people at these rallies are ron paul/ truther people who are actually informed vs some people just riled up about democrat obama at the helm. i listened to hannity for about an hour today and he had caller after caller from these rallies call in and they would all start their call saying 'YER A GREAT MURIKAN SEAN' . It was too much. All the local newscasts would report these rallies saying something like 'and they got to have their say, tell government their thoughts'. Do people really think 'government' gives a shit about what they think? Only when they stop paying will they get the 'governments' attention.

In the republican primaries the True Conservative got just about 5%. Something like 30ish% of Americans call themselves conservatives. Almost all of them are huge bush fans. You may say they aren't real conservatives, but guess what? They outnumber you 20-1, and your brand of conservative has never held power. If you don't want to be lumped in with them, get a new name for yourselves, "conservative" as a word has been tainted anyway. Its like claiming Hitler and the Nazi's weren't real Nazi's, and then calling yourself a Nazi, but getting offended when people think you like hitler. Why bother? I had some hope that Jesse 'Don't Start the Revolution without Me' Ventura would step up, but it seems that he likes living la vida loco in Mexico.
Most third party candidates were not even allowed on the ballots in many states especially the larger states. California only allowed four candidates to even be wrote in, and Ron Paul was one of the four. But most Cal voters did not realize it due to the media blockade.
