You do realize Shep's just a newsreader, living off in his little liberal gay party-boy Manhattan milieu and thinking he's some kind of rogue Republican in that sewer?

We're not supposed to take his opinions quite so seriously. There are times when analysis isn't that useful since The Shep is a fucking idiot most of the time. Still, he's pleasant to watch and reads junior-high level news copy without stumbling too often.

My cavils aside, he's one of the few Faux people I can stomach watching any more.

Fox makes me want to vomit, and I never watch it. The only reason I caught this bit is because I was surfing around on an unrelated issue.

I just thought it was wild seeing that well-dressed young souse slamming his hand on the table and shouting "WE DO NOT FUCKING TORTURE.(Oops.)"

Used to have a dear friend who was an alcoholic and who would blurt out untoward (but accurate) observations like that and then say "Oops."

This was funny, no?
