Section 6104 of The Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education Act requires that a commission be established to investigate, “Whether a workable, fair, and reasonable mandatory service requirement for all able young people could be developed, and how such a requirement could be implemented in a manner that would strengthen the social fabric of the Nation and overcome civic challenges by bringing together people from diverse economic, ethnic, and educational backgrounds.”
Sounds like some liberals wet dream. But I do hope they re-institute the draft as Afghanistan/Pakistan heats up. I want all the college aged Os to fight for the guy who is doing exactly what He said He would.
It is going to get blazing hot there. I am worried about the nukes Pakistan has as we have no need of the Taliban becoming yet another dangerous power elite with nukes.
We already have North Korea, Israel, Iran and a few others to worry about as far as nuclear proliferation into the instable political goes. I don't want that element to also have nuclear 'pies' in hand as well, when the war where nukes will be used for the second time will occur.
