American Border Patrol reports Poster Comment: Meanwhile on Daily Kos this thread: http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2005/8/9/3369/28223 There is a photo of "Minutemen" holding a Nazi flag. How do they know these people are Minutemen? I seriously doubt that these people have ANY connection whatsoever with the Minutemen and these photos are being used in an attempt to prove 'hate crimes' against the Minutemen.
Mexican military ID card found near Tombstone, Arizona
Cochise County, Arizona -- Sunday morning, American Border Patrol spotted three separate groups of Mexican military just south of the border (see photo of day). According to Glenn Spencer, ABP is seeing increased Mexican military activity very close to the border. "On Saturday we received a report of a military intrusion near Arivaca and on Sunday, a neighbor gave us a Mexican military ID that was found near Tombstone," Spencer reported. "We have no idea what they are up to," Spencer added. -- According to Spencer, ABP plans to increase its surveillance of Mexican military activities on the border.

I agree with you about the Minutemen & the nazi flag. Minutemen wouldn't do that. But government operatives trying to make Minutemen look bad would. Also, I'm skeptical on these Mexican soldiers. People don't just leave their ID cards in the desert.
A standard smear tactic. No way the MM would choose to ruin what is now a success story.
I think you're exactly right about the government or other operatives. This issue is very important to a lot of people and they of couurse want to destroy any opposition and I figured this was coming when I viewed a video of a rally and on the pro illegal side was a guy NOT Mexican walking back and forth among them yelling nazi nazi.. Stirring the illegals into a frenzy.
The ties with the Mexican police and military with the Mexican drug lords has been written about. There are even movies about their association.
Protection maybe? If you followed the links, there are pics of a helicopter taken by the border patrol. What the heck is that about?
They've been in cahoots for years. The film "Traffic" with the lovely Catherine Zeta-Jones as the wife a drug lord living in La Jolla, CA, is one look at this mess. It is not just fiction.
