Just curious if anyone else here has gmail and if theirs was down at any time today. I have a gmail account and have had for some time and today is the first time I have ever been unable to log in. Didn't last long and it's back up now but I wondered if anyone else was having the same problem with it.

Thanks lodwick. I also have an account at mail.com and just today opened an account with yahoo. But I will check out the one you recommend too.

That is not my primary mail, but I've never received one piece of spam with gmx.

My sbc/att/Yahoo! account let's more crap than the law should allow pass through their 'filters.'

lodwick, I TRIED to create an account there and after entering a password and confirming it (about four times) I kept getting this:

# Field 'Choose a Password' is required.
# Field 'Re-type Password' is required.

They must have a glitch or I missed something because I kept typing a password in.

I just created the account there mainly for storage. And I only email family and friends, people I know, so I don't get a lot of spam, or at least I haven't so far (with gmail I mean--guess time will tell on the others).
