It is bullshit, but truth be told its like that everywhere in cities big and small. Once they have their political office secured they could give two shits about the people they represent unless its a bribe or threatens them in some way.

And god forbid you bring your own camera to document public meetings like these, theyll call the sheriff and try to get you locked up for the non crime of filming public procedures from a public place.

Politicians are fucking worthless.
