Does Israel act like a U.S. ally?

When the Israelis attacked the U.S.S. Liberty in June, 1967 the U.S. should have sent bombers to attack Tel Aviv. But LBJ was in Israhell's hip pocket and he said, "That ship needs to go to the bottom." ;)

He was in their hip pocket. And not to mention that JFK wanted to phase out U.S. involvement in Vietnam since he knew it would become a quagmire. That would have been hard to do since Republicans would have attacked him as being soft on Communism.

When you think about the 57,000+ lives lost and all of those who were wounded beyond repair and needed prosthetics to replace lost limbs, and all of the emotional scars left behind in its wake. Now you can see the real damage. ;)
