Every socialist in America needs to be sent to a truly socialist nation to love for 5 years. In that time, the socialist ideas they have will be removed from them. Especially if they are sent to Venezuela

The poor are fleeing Venezuela by the thousands since they cannot afford to live there.

In restaurants, they tape a strip of paper across the menu with the price in it. When the prices rise, they tape a new strip of paper on the menu. Much cheaper that printing new menus. ;)

On July 4, 2008 the price of a bottle of beer rose from 100 billion to 150 billion Zimbabwe dollars from 5 to 6 PM. So if you worked an hour's overtime, and went down to the local pub, your overtime pay would have been wiped out by inflation. And Leftists say they are against slavery. What if a socialist government taxes away your income or hyperinflates away your wages and pensions? Have they not forced you to labor all those years for nothing. Is that freedom

Is 1965 a typo? Zimbabwe didn't even exist in 1965, it was Rhodesia. The massive inflation came under Mugabe, starting around 1998 or so.

They sure do. And Mugabe has ruined that nation worse than Chavez has ruined Venezuela. You can blame it all on socialism. ;)

I think you are right, Dak.

I looked up some things on Wiki. ;)

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/His...ndependence_and_the_1980s

The new Constitution provided for an executive[citation needed] President as Head of State with a Prime Minister as Head of Government. Reverend Canaan Banana served as the first President. In government amended the Constitution in 1987 to provide for an Executive President and abolished the office of Prime Minister. The constitutional changes came into effect on 1 January 1988 with Robert Mugabe as President
