This is a post Rodney King riot Mclaughlin Group discussion of the riots. Great nostalgia. On Fathers Day, Sunday June 17, 2012, Cynthia Kelly found King lying underwater at the bottom of his swimming pool. King died 28 years to the day after his father, Ronald King, also an alcoholic, was found dead in his bathtub in 1984. Police in Rialto received a 911 call from Kelly at about 5:25 a.m.
