I live in SW Missouri. One time about 5 years ago, some woman from HHS came to my place. My boss was here as a witness.

She starts asking about guns. I tell her, "There are no guns here. I don't own any guns. Why are you coming HERE asking about guns?"

She said, "That shooting happened out near Denver."

I said, "Denver is a long way from here and why are you coming HERE asking about guns?"

The fact is clear. The authorities cannot keep anyone “safe” against insanity, whether it comes from a lefty shooter firing onto a baseball diamond full of Congressmen in Washington, or a nut case firing on defenseless civilians in a Walmart shopping mall in Texas.

Citizens have to be able to effectively defend themselves against the insane, who historically were released onto the public streets, thanks to democrat policies, closing mental health facilities across the USA.Many live on the streets as home-less people. Many of these crazy shooters over the last few years clearly should have been institutionalized, instead of freely roaming the streets of America, manifesting as demons.As long as that is allowed, we will have mass shootings, and so now American citizens must face the fact that they must encourage private citizens to arm themselves and carry personal defense firearms.

Being armed is the only remedy available, as long as we continue to treat mental illness as lightly as we do according to lefty policies. Why should a whole society live in fear because a population of crazy people are allowed to roam our streets?

The 2nd amendment is not going away anywhere and people will rely on it as they must. America will not give up its freedom at the hands of a puling crowd of leftists like Beto , who would turn Americans into a large herd of passive sheep, entirely dependent on politicians like Beto or worse.

I hear you about this Color of Law stuff.

The whole trouble is the cops do whatever they want, until the Courts tell them they cannot do it.

Now I was riding in the local city taxi the other day and I stop to pick up a donut at gas station 2 blocks from my destination. On the way back to taxi I picked 2 plastic bottles from the trash.

The taxi driver was complaining and said she would tell them at the office. I told her if she did that and there were any kind of repercussions, it would open a whole can of worms they could not consume and the ACLU would back me on it.

Under the Americas With Disabilities Act they cannot bar me from riding. There was also some recycling in the back of the taxi which I was taking into the workshop. ;)
