Smithsonian Magazine, a taxpayer-funded publication, is promoting the anti-gun March For Our Lives (MFOL) movement, FrontpageMag.com reports.
Smithsonian Magazine issued a press release ahead of its December issue, stating:
For Smithsonian magazines December issue, Maggie Jones sits down with the founding members of March for Our Lives, to discuss how they turned a tragedy into a movement for change. The founding members of March For Our Lives were recently announced by Smithsonian magazine as recipients of the 2018 American Ingenuity Award for Youth.
Creating the #NeverAgain hashtag, lobbying Florida's state legislature in Tallahassee about common sense gun control and organizing their Road to Change bus tour and the March for Our Liveswhich turned out to be the largest youth-led protest since Vietnam, with an estimated 800,000 protesters in the nations capital, and more than 1.2 million more in marches around the world - these students are the driving force of a movement and a generation tired of waiting for adults to effect the social reform they deserve.

Actually, your "tax money" goes to pay the interest on the debt. Not one cent is appropriated or spent for any substantial projects.
All the money the USG spends for war is borrowed from the Federal Reserve. ;)
