Ilhan Omar is back in the news once again for all the wrong reasons.

The controversial Minnesota congresswoman is at the center of a growing public relations nightmare.

And Ilhan Omar’s ugly sex scandal just took this turn for the worse.

On Monday, Ilhan Omar announced she filed for divorce from Ahmed Hirsi.

Hirsi was the man Omar legally remarried in 2018 after her official divorce in 2017 from a man many claimed was her brother whom she only married in order to commit immigration fraud.

The New York Post reports:

"Rep. Ilhan Omar has filed for divorce from the father of her three kids, claiming the marriage is “irretrievable” — amid allegations that she had an affair with DC-based political consultant Tim Mynett.

"The freshman congresswoman filed to split from husband Ahmed Hirsi on Friday in Minnesota, the state she represents, The Post has learned.

"Omar filed on her 37th birthday, according to the US House of Representatives’ archives.

"Omar and Hirsi were married in a religious ceremony in 2002. The two separated in 2008, then legally remarried in 2018."

Omar divorced Hirsi after the knowledge of her affair with married campaign consultant Tim Mynett went public.

Hirsi and Mynett’s affair led to immediate questions about if Omar used campaign funds to carry on the secret tryst.

Omar never provided satisfactory answers to those questions.

But her divorce from Hirsi could lead to a jilted lover providing answers to the questions surrounding the allegations that Omar both married her brother and committed tax fraud by jointly filing tax returns with two men at the same time.
