LeBron James is among 200,000 people evacuated from their homes as wildfires continue to ravage California with the 85 square mile blaze now burning near Josh Duhamel's Brentwood pad and the historic Getty Center - home to Rembrandt and Van Gogh paintings

NBA star LeBron James was among those to flee their homes. He took to Twitter writing: 'Man these LA (fire emoji) aren't no joke. Had to emergency evacuate my house and I've been driving around with my family trying to get rooms. No luck so far!'

Eighteen minutes later he wrote an update: 'Finally found a place to accommodate us! Crazy night man!' He also added: 'I (praying hands) for all the families in the area that could be affected by these (fire emojis) now! Pretty please get to safety ASAP.

'My best wishes as well to the first responders right now doing what they do best!'

Fires were also seen spreading toward the home of another resident of Brentwood, actor Josh Duhamel.

The flames were seen engulfing North Kenter Hill where a number of mansions are located. Duhamel and his then-wife Fergie bought the 8,232 sq ft home in 2007 for $5.2million. It has eight bedrooms and eight-and-a-half bathrooms.

Meanwhile, the gusty winds and wildfires have forced up to 2 million residents of Northern California to go without power.

PG&E, the California utility company, shut off power to more customers on Sunday in hopes of avoiding further fires caused by downed power lines. Officials say electricity could be restored by Wednesday.
