What increases the risks of earthquakes and tsunamis on the West Coast plus quakes along the New Madrid (say Goodbye to Memphis and St Louis) is the reduction of the sun's magnetosphere in a Grand Solar Minimum.

This allows more cosmic rays (nuclear particles from distant decaying stars) to strike the earth. The New Madrid fault had a major quake during the Maunder Minimum on 12-25-1699. During the Dalton Minimum, the New Madrid fault had 4 quakes on 3 days in 1811-1812.

Japanese scientists also noted an increase in the number of volcanoes during a Grand Solar Minimum. The likely cause of the increase in both quakes and volcanoes is the increased number of cosmic rays energizing the earth.

Cosmic rays have been increasing for the past 10 years. No activity for hundreds of years on New Madrid and Garlock faults and the Juan de Fuca plate. Those cosmic rays will energize volcanoes and earthquakes all over the world. Google this: "1816 year without a summer." That happened during the Dalton Minimum. An asteroid could hit the earth ... lightening could strike us ... and a multitude of calamities are available to worry about that we really have little opportunity to do something corrective or constructive to eliminate. So, why worry about them ? In an era of so much evil and wickedness that we could do something about (like quit financing wars and murders around the world through FEDERAL taxes). Yet few have the cahonies to stand up against the vile creatures lurking in the swamp in D.C. (District of Cocksuckers).

Cosmic rays have energized us in the past to have volcanoes and earthquakes. And will do so again. California, the Northwest and the New Madrid area will be hard hit over the next 20 years. A major volcano anywhere in the world could give us another "1816 year without a summer" that would kill a few billion people.

Asteroids hitting us are more rare.
