The act of criminal gangs forcing women into prostitution isn’t only taking place in France. In October, Voice of Europe reported on the Nigerian crime syndicate Black Ax which forces women into prostitution as a way to finance their criminal operations. The gang has embedded itself in Sweden’s largest cities and is known to operate throughout Italy.
