The Fed is already buying up the short term debt China and Brazil are dumping on the secondary markets in an attempt to prop up the Dollar. How long can they keep it up? The IMF has already moved from Washington, D.C. to Beijing, China. This signals a sea change in the world reserve currency from the Dollar to the Yuan.
And China is releasing a 40% gold backed Yuan soon. This will be the death knell of the Dollar which is back only by the full faith and credit of the U.S. government. Federal Reserve Notes are evidence of debt and obligations of the United States. ;)
