We worked Grateful Dead at Soldier Field in Chicago. The van pulled up and Jerry Garcia jumped out. Some guy on the local crew nailed him for an autograph. Band Security was screaming, "SECURITY! GET THIS GUY OUT OF HERE!" I grab him and tell him, 'Get lost until this guy cools off." He was telling me, "Do you know what this signature is worth?" I told him, "I have no idea and could care less." ;)
