When I worked for State of Illinois, we went thru some bad snow storms. One time there was so much snow the called for the loaders from gravel pits with 7 yard buckets.
The guy gets out there, opens the door of loader and says, "Where do you want it." He was told, "Anywhere. Just get it off the road."
He starts to throw scoops over guard rail. There was a flash of color. He threw a car over the guard rail. They put a chain on it and pulled it back up and set it on road. There wasn't a scratch on it. The snow was like a buffer.

None of us were happy with the move from VA to NJ in 55, even tho we 3 kids were just tots. The first big snow I was all excited about going out in it to play. My leg sank all the way down in it, then my other leg did. Phooey caramba! ;)

When I worked for the State of Illinois, one of the heavies had the Grader out and was working. Some guy got too close to him and he put the front tire on top of his hood.
That guy was a nut. His kids were blond headed and there were a couple of blond headed kids from other families running around in his neighborhood. You think he might have been getting a piece or two on the side? LOL
