It's hard to imagine that a full blown outbreak in Iran would not spread to all other ME nations, including Israel. It seems Israel's militant enemies would hardly miss the opportunity to bring it into Israel wholesale. Not that it would require overt action. If it gets into the occupied Palestinian areas (if??) then how could it not sweep Israel?

Might be a different strain (MERS based). Might have a cure already. I can cure it.

cure

The Cure was a punk rock band.

This was the kind of concert that guys would wear black lipstick.

One of them was standing by the rail in the Mezzanine looking at the stage. I said to one of the guys on the crew, "You see that guy? If he comes down here I'm going to beat the crap out of him."

I was in my usual position, back stage , stage left.

When the band was going off some guy jumped the rail in the corner and starts to run along the first row of dead seats where no one was sitting.

I paralleled him down below.

He tried to jump thru the rail. I came around the corner and clotheslined him. The glasses he was wearing went to the tip of his nose and his cap went over his eyes. He was so far thru the rail if I had taken my hand away he would have fallen on his head.

One of our guys was just above by a curtain that was back stage entry. He came down and grabbed him and took him out.

My boss was on the other corner of the stage. When he saw that he said, "Tex! That was an all-pro move."

He told the whole crew, "Tax clotheslined a guy that tried to jump on top of the band."

Lots of other great stories to tell too. I am very lucky to recall them because of the meningitis which wiped out a lot of my memory. ;)

Great plan to spread it even further instead of containing it in prison.

Close quarters spreads it. Home toilets have a lid. Prisons and public restrooms do not have lids. The feces and urine carries the coronavirus. Flush a toilet without a lid and you aerosolize the virus exposing everyone until the room is thoroughly sanitized.

All true, but it would be contained in prison much better than in sending 54K potential carriers out into the general population.

Not really. You could shoot them and be done with it. They are released on license. Violators will be shot and cremated. If they are lucky, they won't be cremated alive like some of those old folks in China.

They are released on license.

Permission to do what?

Permission to be outside which can be revoked. Going to prison has now become a death sentence.
