Born in southern Mexico, Carlos Santana's family moved to Tijuana when he was seven. He told Rolling Stone his father put him and his brothers to work, selling gum on the street, shining shoes, and eventually, singing Mexican folk songs. Showing an aptitude for the guitar, he soon accompanied his bar-musician father to gigs in dirt- floored saloons full of shady characters......

He opted into John McLaughlin's Hindu shtick for awhile. This growling number you hear in ads etc. is his'n -- I think it's kinda catchy

Have never seen a performer wave a crowd on in their acclaim before tho, as Santana does here during the 2 parts of the song -- sort of like that condenscending backhand motion popes do when addressing the hordes at St. Peter's ;)

I walk her up front, she throws it and it lands at George's feet.
And the crowd cheered.
She already had it off since if she had popped her top down front they would have arrested her. ROTFLOL
