When I worked for the State Highways in Illinois, there was a guy there who was relief forces at the Battle of Hamburger Hill.

He told me a mortar round landed right next to him. It was a dud. I told him, "God had his hand on your shoulder."

His brother married an Oriental woman. He said, "Its like a knife in my heart." :-/
