From time to time, wind turbines can fail. Faulty equipment or extreme weather is often the cause of these failures. Today we're taking a look at wind turbine failure events.

Stupidly, several of the pinwheels were located "at" a school -- one came apart.
In another case, turbine burned and messed up 3 acres of farm field. I'm sure it smelled delicious!
When another spun out of control you could hear the noise of it 7 miles away.
Another caught fire when two young mechanics were doing routine maintenance, killing both -- ETC. You'll never convince me these infernal things should ever have existed.
