Carnival Cruise Line bookings rose 600 per cent after the company said it will resume some of its cruises in August.

That's 200 per cent more bookings than this same time last year, reports a travel industry representative

Carnival Cruise Line's current stock price is $13.85 -- still down 73% from this year's peak of $51.90 in January.

Thanks for some great news even tho' I hate the cruise (in sympathy with the crews). I'm taking this as a BIG sign that things are returning to 'normal' and hope the funseekers won't be required to wear masks or any of that NONSENSE.

Email from my dentists today: " Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it's both safe and comfortable. We would like to tell you what to expect as you enter our facility. Please be prepared for a temperature scan and a brief health questionnaire. You must also wear a mask or some type of facial coverage before entering the building."

I started to fire off a firy reply in my hotheaded, confrontational fashion but decided to just ask when my next appt is. If far enuff off I'll just hope they've dropt the TOTAL NONSENSE by then, and if need be switch to somebody else -- mebbe the dental school in main city 30 mi away.
