The drug-dealing and feces inundating the streets of one neighborhood in San Francisco have become so ubiquitous that the University of California Hastings College of the Law, joined by local business owners and residents, is suing the city to clean the mess up.

The law school is near downtown. High priced condos pushed the winos out of the South of Market Street area (SOMA). Now their only real neighborhood is the Tenderloin which surrounds the school. That feces and urine on the streets could contain the coronavirus and be spread to anyone in the neighborhood.

When I was driving the big truck, I pulled into a rest area and popped the parking brake right in front of the the rest rooms. I ran inside and just made it.
This security guard stuck his head in the door and hollered, "DRIVER, YOU CAN'T PARK OUT HERE!" I hollered back, "WHAT YOU WANT ME TO DO? IT WAS AN EMERGENCY!"
When I came out he was still bitching. You give someone a little authority and they think they run you. :-/
