For many parents, this will just reinforce their growing suspicions that public schools just aren't worth it anymore. Maybe they never were...

We have a local private school that turns out educated graduates who can pass Advanced Placement exams and score high on SATs. The local public school does not even teach kids to read handwriting. And they do not do well on SATs, ditto AP science, math amd English. My niece who has an average IQ was sick one day. The local public school was testing that day. Teachers get points for high achieving tests scores for their students. Her teacher came and picked up my niece, had her take the exam and and drove her back home. The local schools charge the taxpayers $5,000 a year more than the private school. Parents don't seem to care.

Great! And maybe parents will also realize that college is nowadays largely a waste of time and money, and often ruinous for right- thinking white folks.
