The US miltary requires annual flu shots. This increases the risk that they get corona virus by 36%. Lesson to be learned here.

Typical deployment average ten females become pregnant and have to be replaced at huge cost.

The Coast Guard has a small base in Chicago that they use to patrol the lakefront and do rescues on the lake. It has been many years since I have been in that area so no idea if they have any females there. ;)

I kinda doubt Horse or anyone at 4um came up with that insane or unworkable policy.
Bear in mind I know nothing. I can't tell you what the difference between a boy/girl/male/female/man/woman is in the new world.
Just call me Sgt. Esso Shultz.

Friend few months ago did his first tour as squadron commander of a fighter group. He intended to stay 30 years and be an admiral. After his first tour, he now will do his twenty years and retire.

OK, Hondo, you now have my undivided attention. I'll try not to put too fine a point on this stuff, but you, and others, may need a little updating.
Have you ever been on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier? Best I could tell, it's probably 60-80 feet above the water. Fall off and you'll die. They're formidable. About the best some stolen Somali fishing boat, with their armaments, may be able to do is scratch the hell out of the paint and leave some very small pock marks.
If they were able to get that close. Those big ships don't exactly go out cruising the gay bars in town, they go out with their very straight friends (other ships), and don't they like being hit on.
Ever hear of CAWS (close-in weapon system)? Basically it's an electric Gatling gun that will spit out more weight in lead or DU than both my work trucks weigh in less than a minute.
Bear in mind, too, that all the "skeleton crew" of swabbies have access to small weapons also. It takes very few fellas to man (not woman) those defensive weapons. There's several others as well, I haven't been privy to that stuff going on 40-some years.
4um, don't pick on Cyni too much. He's earned the right to be crotchety and grumpy. He's paid for it in family and blood. I'll beat anyone to death with my cane that wont abide.
Hondo, you seem to be quite unhappy here at 4um. I'm not sure why you post here, unless it's to just vent you hatred of this country and Donald Trump, who has finally brought back some dignity to the presidency. You're not going to change any minds here, just breed more ill-will against leftists.
I've got an idea for you, kiddo. Post an article titled "Esso versus Hondo68" and get a "democratic" vote as to which one of should leave. I'll abide by what the mob decides, would you? Doubtful.
I'm going to post some pictures for you to try to make you understand the power, no speaker will be able to make you understand the sound, but a gun that makes the ground jump up a few meters around it is really loud.
Hit in the chest with a baseball bat and shit your pants loud. I can't speak for PNC Cyni too much, but I'm pretty sure he gets it.
The Russkies warned 'em.
For those of wondering why my "old man band" of mercs can't get a contract to protect civilian ships with a couple of pedestal-mounted Ma Duces and a couple of M-60s, there's some bullshit "international law" that doesn't allow non-military ships to be armed.

Hondo is a Veneualan faggot, man, open your eyes. The guy only wants to kill children or something, or burn houses, hell I don't know, but don't ever go swimming with him, right?

No, the "taxpayers" don't have shit anymore. The "tribe" that prints the "money" are in control.
No, again. Only kooky leftists promote that shit, certainly not Cyni, nobody that I know of here.
No, it's demoralizing and dehumanizing. See post #9.

No, I didn't realize that it was sarcasm. Sorry.

Uhhhh...Note he was the squadron commander??
Consider...Eighteen years, first long haul deployment. Perhaps reality set in, that he and other pilots were at top of the EXPENDABLE list???
Very difficult to be briefed for your intended mission in case of conflict and that briefing makes it very plain that your chances of survival are slim to none. My day was afore the "pill" so we would have carried a .45. It was unsaid what the .45 was for.
