I wonder if those bricks were the distinctive Chicago "pink bricks" that were made from the clay deposits that were left by rivers in the area.
I knew a kid that was an escapee from Mayville. That was a home for wayward children. He lived on 2nd floor of a building on Montrose. He would pull down the shades and they would have letters S-C-R on them for Simon City Royals.
The Puerto Ricans tried to throw full size bricks at the windows and they couldn't do it.
Hell, that is when you throw half size bricks.
There ain't no pity in Simon City. ;)
