Like statues of great historical figures, traditional holidays moor us to the heritage that defines us. That is why they must be erased and replaced.

The War on Christmas has raged for years. Progressives don’t like Thanksgiving either.

If current political trends continue, expect the 4th of July to soon be abolished. We will be pressured to celebrate “Juneteenth” instead. In the meantime, the liberal establishment demonizes and corrupts our national birthday.

Nothing could be more patriotic than honoring the Fourth at Mount Rushmore — or more likely to set Democrats snarling about “white supremacy”:

The leftist media and Democrat Party are beyond parody in their hostility to all things patriotic.

Caught overexposing themselves, the Dems deleted the tweet. They still have a slight fear of backlash. Whether this will still be the case after November depends on voters.

Fox was also forced to back down, watering down plans to hollow out the Fourth and replace the patriotism with race-based moonbattery:

The Fox “Soul” television network announced Monday that it had canceled a July 4th program that was to have featured a speech from Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan…

Farrakhan is a black supremacist well known for his explosive hatred of whites and of America.

In a statement Monday, Fox Soul announced that it would replace the Farrakhan program with an “inspirational” program focusing on “the greatest black leaders and thinkers about racial relations and civil rights in America.”

Don’t expect it to brim over with love of country.
