Welsh is a Saxon word meaning foreigner as the Welsh invaded Wales from Brittany in France when the Romans in Britain collapsed around 322 A.D. This video gives the history of the various Viking kingdoms and other native remnants that preceded the rise of Britain which was conquered in 1066 the Normans who were themselves a Danish Viking colony called Normandy.
