The Washington Post reported in 1996 that French authorities believed Kroll's Paris operation "was a CIA front."

Kroll was also in charge of security for the World Trade Center on September 11th.

A board member of Wexner's company reportedly hired Kroll in the past to investigate Jeffrey Epstein.
